hey,
since i came back to Romania many things happened…
first it was my astonishment..i forgot how Romanian look like and how Romania looks like…i forgot about the corruption that is in politics…and i found out something new….
i really missed this country…and one more thing…i really think Romanians are poor…but they don’t realize it…i didn’t notice this before either…it is something obvious when you come home after a long time…but otherwise is invisible…
i already got fed up and sick of the coruption in politics…because i staied at home with my family (where is no internet) but many TV sets
i saw alot of shows and i am so not proud of these politicians…
i am in love again with the landscape we have and which we don’t value…i have always been in love with it…
Valcea – my home town is changing…because most of the young people are working in Spain or Italy more or less legally …but for real money…they invest in this little town…and this week i had a very big surprise..i saw what i thought i will see in 5 years from now…garbage cans (i am not sure if this is the word separated for iron, glass, paper, and plastic…i saw it in Italy when i was there…and now it appeared also in my home town..and people really use these…so i guess we are not so hopeless…we can catch up the big mammoths in EU after all…;)
we just need to really really want this;)
take care,

why don’t you start your own business? September 4, 2006

so why don’t you? why don’t people in general?
I read an article a few days ago, that was preising the benefits of internet and how many things you could just do with an internet connection…and i was thinking that it should be simple for most of the internet users to open a business on internet, so why don’t they?
well, i thought for a while and came up with these conclusions:
- most of the people like working in a team/department/gossip team or something…
- most of the people don’t have the guts to start a business on their own
- most of the people need guidence in many small and insignificant things in life and their levels of satisfaction aren’t too high situated…so why be a manager/entreprenour/etc..
- most of the people just have the idea and imagine how nice it would be to put it in practice..but when it comes to working it is so hard that they prefer to work for others…and for others’ ideas…
- most of the people think that having a family is such a big responsability that starting a business is a risk…really?
well…what do you think? will you ever start your own business?
have smooth road,

hi,
i just read an article about the 2 big recruitment portals in Romania (ejobs and bestjobs) which worth alot and will worth even more soon enough, when Romania will get accepted in EU.
Actually this is a very interesting way of doing business: you get a briliant idea – it doesn’t have to be original, it is enough to be new for the country in which you want to implement it and then when it grows and it grows, you will just get offers, and you could sell and come with another briliant idea and develop another business and so on…just that you have to think about the money and not to involve your soul – “selling your baby” could be a tough thing to do.
But look at GeCAD – they sold the best antivirus to Microsoft and together with it they gave away also the right to ever concive antivirus software. Though with the money obtained they developed new services which might have remaind at the stage of idea for a long time without having money to invest. And without having money to invest FAST, someone else might have come with the idea before them.
Again, Alienware – most of us haven’t heard of them – well they used to produce luxury laptops – or in other words – laptops for very very rich people – they were almost taylor made – well, they accepted an offer from DELL and they gave away their right to ever produce laptops. But…who knows what they have in mind
So i guess the key to success, and also the future of entrepreneurship is to come up with an idea, and make a small business but have quality products, for a small but rich nishe – you will say this is nothing new…well let’s think further…when you developed your brand enough, you can sell it for good money and start building another one in the same domain or not. What i am trying to say is that you either do business the traditional way and you will just climb stairs and might still be the manager of a minimarket in your 60′s, or you can be dynamic and take an elevator and jump from a business to a bigger business, and that is variety, and that is LIVING LIFE!
Stillness is good only fo statues!
have a nice journey,
