the Holidays are over…but 2007 looks nicer then 2006 January 9, 2007

hello dear frieds,

me writing here is a proof that the holidays are over:(…i was getting used to it…but now is 2007…and i have some wishes to make them come true:)

in the Holidays i finished discovering Frankfurt…is not a very big city…

the sky scrapers fascinate me the most…and the rain i hate the most…

at the begining i thought that the fact that here is bab weather most of the time will not affect me, but i was wrong…having only 2 hours of sun per day is not fun at all! maybe this is why the people over here are so gloomy, the wheater got them like in a spell…

i spent Christmas with my house mates and their gests (an Estonian, a Slovak, an Indian and 2 Romanians) and we also had a traditional German dinner “provided” by the landlords, with a Christmas tree also…so i did not feel lonely

What was very interesting at the Christmas dinner was the amount of meat that those people brought ….and aet…or maybe is just my subjective opinion…

then on New Years Eve, my boyfriend came, and we were 3 Romanians…so we did speak a lot of Romanian in the house:)))….we had fun, but i am not so enthusiastic about it because i have the feeling that i started to get used with having New Years Eve with friends, so actualy, besides the champagne (which actually is sprinkling wine, due to copyright laws) it was almost like any other party…so what is so different about 1st of January??

So i got back to office and now i continue to work on the nice projects i have…i really like it in here, everything…i like everything about this job…isn’t this amazing? is mz second job about which i am saying this…so i am either so damn lucky to pick the good one, or i just know how to choose…and of course, i know what i want…i guess this stays at the basis of this “luck”…

So when my boyf was here i showed him around and we made some pictures…i have been waiting for his camera for quite a long time:))) so i will finaly be able to add some more pictures with Frankfurt, my house and my work place:P…soon

Yesterday i was looking at a map of Europe and i decided i have to see some more of it…at least the closer parts to Frankfurt…so i made a wishlist: Amsterdam, Strasbourg, Paris, Bruxelles, Prague, Krakow, Salzburg, Zurich, Munich and Madrid and maybe next year also Barcelona. I want to see these all until the end of 2007. In (or near) half of them i have friends:))) so it will not be that expensive …

I don’t know why, but i don’t seem to feel any atraction to see Berlin…so in Germany i will probably be satisfied with seeing Munich and some historical cities on the Rhein…

On the other hand, even if i like everything about this job and i like the house, and my garden and the swing, and the bike and the many H&M this Frankfurt has (about 8 i counted)…i am more positive as time goes by, that i will definitly not like to live here for the rest of my life…

So i have seen quite some cities, and i will still see some more this year…and i hope i will find the city of my dreams, with which to fall in love and like to stay for the rest of my life…did any of you find the for-all-life-city?
