hi again…many things not enough time:)
On Saturday we went to Frankenstein Castle by bike. We took the train to the closest city and then we went up the hills for almost 3 hours…in total 13 km, and 7 trees blocking the road…
we were 3 girls and one German guy…he helped us a lot with the bikes..and he was such a gentleman…but he is always very polite…so nothing new:)
the castle was pretty nice…not much left of it, but it is in the middle of nowhere…and even so…there is a road for cars up to there…
is the castle where Frankenstein, the famous doctor from Mary Shelly’s book…was born and where he died…and it is said he is haunting the place…
there is also a small chapel where you can get married if you want to…
and a restaurant…where i aet a great soup…i think it was speneach soup…never tried that before:)
going down, was of course much easier…just had to take care of the breaks:)
and then in the evening we had a pijama party…with many internationals and only 2 Germans:)
i met a guy from Costa Rica…interesting culture they have there..and so similar to ours…and more then that…we discovered we have a common friend…the world is sooo small:)
cheers,
